need some urgent help, its cold up ere.....

well ive tried everything matey,
brand new thermostat from paddocks.

just noticed the stat is about 2" long, so whipped it out and put a slightly lower temp one at 82 in and its only an inch long.

apart from that i changed the matrix today and offered in a saab one and with a bit of addapting it seems ok. worked on it too much the last 2 weeks, cant be bothered going out to try it tonits il give it a go tomorrow

Why would you fit a lower temp one that is what temp it opens up at...this means it will get to that temp and open stat letting the water cool faster. You need a hotter one mate. There is always the possiblity that ya temp guage is faulty.... My heater in my 90 with the 200tdi fitted is ***t to say the least.....it was alot better with the old 2.5 n/a engine in....
But then landy heaters are ***p anyways...

another thing i noticed about 200 tdi is the water pumps round the engine different than a 300 tdi.

mine pumps water out the blok into matrix and out along metal pipe above engine , mmm yours the same, and this may sound strange but hows about sending me a picture of your heater box showing hose arrange ment.

paddocks used to be good, new owners now i think, sent me wrong stat.
