Defender 1985 county lock system

Early 80's models had the previous Series model lift up recess type handle's. Swapping the whole door for later "car" type handle with wind up windows may be an answer.
Or is it you just want a better locking system? There are ways to fit central locking for old Defenders/ One Tens.

Some early 90 / 110 models had recessed handles AND wind up windows, mine does.

Hi, actually it is not exactly same as the serles locks it la not a slngle piece lt looks same from outslde but lnslde it has a mechanlsm like new verslins. İ actually am looklng for the whole mechanlsm as the orlglnal.

Sounds like the type fitted to 1980 and on Series and 83-85 Coil spring models.
