Defender 110 Rear Passenger Side Door Actuator

Near side passenger door actuator not working. Bought a replacement, plugged in and that does not activate either. I can't see any reference to a fuse, and all fuses look fine after checking. Where does the feed come from, could it be an ECU issue?

Have you got a multimeter or spare bulb and bit of wire? Check to see if you get 12v at the actuator connection. If yes then look at the earth (which I believe to be be though the unit's mounting). If you haven't a meter to check that earth - take a wire from that mounting to battery -ve and try operating the lock. If no 12v at the actuator you need to follow that wire back to where it joins the offside door's lock wire.
