Hi

I am looking at buying a 1990 G plate Defender 110 hard top, 90000 miles on odometer, 2.5N/A diesel, needs new battery/seat box, tyres good, no mot or tax (just expired). Would anyone care to put a value on it as I havent a clue if its worth the screen price?

Thanks

If you buy LRO International there is a handy price guide towards the back. Having said that, I spent a long time looking for an older 90/110 and couldn't find anything half decent for the suggested prices.

price 1 £800 (needing work)

price 2 £1500 (not faultless but should give you a few years of hassle free driving)

price 3 £2500

Much depends on how much else is wrong with it (if anything); best thing to do is go and have a look and see how much you want it and how much you would be prepared to pay.

Snigger away you, I know what you're like!

Actually, what magazines if any do you recommend? LAND ROVER publications I mean not **** mags etc. Being new to all this (as it sounds like the other person is as well) I am always on the hunt for info. Online stuff is cool but for the toilet etc its nice to have paper to read.

**** me I picked up a g plate v8 90 mot, 6 months tax and £50 in fuel in it £450

wtf? what is a N/A doing in a 1990 110? dont pay more than £1000 mainly cos lack of tax n mot. check rust as well this could bring the price down a lot
