Decals on Hood

Has anyone replaced the Land Rover decals on the hood? I am repainting my hood and will be replacing the decals. I'm hoping someone has done this and knows spacing and placement so it doesn't take me weeks to get it done. TIA

Plenty of sellers on eBay sell the bonnet badges with a free stencil

You ought to get them on a pattern paper that you tape to the bonnet and affix them through it.

If you buy cheap ones you might not get it but it really isn't that hard to work out.

Funny enough I’ve removed all the ones on the tailgate , still wondering if I should take the Land Rover letters off the bonnet and replace with discovery or remove them all together , so many tough decisions, lol

De-badging was very popular at one time. As was removing door handles and such, very hot hatch and saarf end sea front cruisin stylee lolz

I quite like the badges as I'm getting old and finicky about originality

I was looking at the discovery bonnet badges last night though, think I'll stick with original though.

I have ordered some black and silver land rover ovals for grille and tailgate handle, as tailgate one is missing. will get black and silver wheel centre caps as well

Niiice, sun strip across the windscreen, headlight eyebrows and sparco seatbelt pads. Don't forget to drill a few holes in your back box

Lol, still in mixed views ref the bonnet decals, ie discovery or Land Rover ??

Did fit a new front grill on mine , the handles are very faded on mine and been looking at some Matt covers

Think the black and silver badges look nice

Have left the tailgate handle badge on, but removed all the letters from the lower tailgate

Matt handles look ok against dark paintwork don't they. Can't stand those chrome ones people put on.

Discovery bonnet badge would look good on yours with that grille, very tasteful. Do they do that grille in black?

Thks, it did have chrome wing mirror covers and chrome door handle covers which I removed , indeed prefer the Matt finish

I’m not sure ref the front grill if they done it all in black , will try and find the link for u

Have got another front bumper that has the fog lights and front parking sensors in it still to go on
