How do
Just been out to the car and both front main speakers are dead.
Tweeters are working fine.
Rear speakers are working fine.
Tried altering fade/ balance etc, no difference.
Took head unit out and disconnected-reconnected the multi-plug. No difference.
Not going to take the door panels off tonight, I'm knackered.
Strange both front units have gone off together.

So any bright ideas?
Anyone got a pin diagram for the connector?

Cheers

Mine failed within a couple of weeks of each other. Too much of a coincidence I thought but it was moisture in the doors that had done them in.

No point in pulling the HU out as the tweeters are on the same wire as the main speakers. ;)

The problem will be the main speakers failed.

Front speakers full of water in the back, drying out now, update later.

Bin them as they'll be no use now. Then find a pair of quality replacements (I used JVC replacements) or find someone with some working second hand factory speakers.

when I first had my face lift the speaks were not working except one so I took it strait back and LR said it was the wiring since they had them made in china they are thinner and not much use so they put new wiring in still the same old thinness but now are working and have done the last 5 years
