Dawes Device P38 Diesel

Hi has anyone fitted a dawes device or similar manual boost controller for the turbo on a P38 -

If so was it any good, what was it set at, is it a real must to fit a boost gauge too...

etc.... etc.....

If you just got an ebay one, and its not a Dawes or driftworks (same thing) bin it, there no good, and home made

You must have a decent boost gauge though to monitor. so you can adjust it

I have had one, worth the fit, cant compare though, it was in the car already (not this one that i have now)

im no expert, so i wouldn't like to say, but i know you can do a lot of damage if you crank it up too much, find a site that deals with this sort of thing, and ask lots of Q there are sites (i googled it) that know what there doing

Now you got me going im thinking of fitting one again to the P38, it will at least take the lag of the thing,
