dash lighting replacement

can anyone point me in the right direction for replacement bulbs for the speedo, fuel and temp gauges on my 1984 SW90? i would also like to replace some of the smaller bulbs where the handbrake, diff lights etc are.

i ideally would like to replace them with LED's over conventional bulbs. ive seen kits on ebay for £20 but im sure i can source bulbs cheaper direct.

at present i have no dash bulbs! only the fog, handbrake, battery and oil lights work... ow and the low fuel

I've got them from my local car spares shop at £1 each for the little 'uns.

I'm not absolutely sure but there are complications with using LED's. for instance you can't just change one rear light you have to change them both, don't know if this would apply to the dash bulbs.

for the speedo, temp and fuel guages you want 501 wedge LEDs, dont know about the smaller warning lights

yer, i was looking on ultra... got mega confused by all the diff types though

I've done all the interior lights in my other car with blue leds,clocks,window switches,heated seats,map light switches,aircon,stereo and a few others when i pick my landrover up at the weekend i will have a look and see if i can help you out

Fitted bue leds today so will see how they look later when its dark and i might even post a piccy or two.
