Got intermittent dash lights now keep turning off also noticed check engine light coming on on start up after ignition on and off it goes out and up the old girl fires any suggestions as to cause much appreciated

Bad earth. MIL light should come on with ignition on goes out when the engine starts.

Just tried it again dash came on for while then out but did notice radio code so had to put that in again could it be low battery even tho starting ok I will check all the earths tomorrow

Low battery, a bad earth or a loose connections on the battery

Thanks data the earth for the dash is drivers side footwell I think and will fully charge battery have onl

Only done short journey in car no time to charge properly sorry was finishing last post

The vehicle alternator will not fully charge a low battery unless you are planning a trip to Scotland!
