P38A Dash and console lights

Know how the back lights come on for the dash and console switches when you switch the headlights on? Mine isn't doing that any more.

Have checked fuse 1 and it's fine; clock works, radio works.

Any idea what it could be?

.. Cigarette lighter bulb had fallen out.
