Looking at clutches and price tempts me towards a Britpart heavy duty one

Do I need counselling ??:)

I used a britpart heavy duty clutch.......no problems.

YET !!!!

I wouldnt use much more than a door seal manufactured by that bunch of "ineptcantmeasuretosavemylifeORanyoneelsesforthatmatter" Waistrels ...

Not more than a month ago i had a set of LWB brake shoes off them and one shoe was welded up on the **** ao the bloody drum wouldnt fit on .

**** sellers no more no less

Britpart? Do you mean ****part? I would only fit a AP or OEM clutch to a land rover, gearboxes are way too heavy to be lifting about if you can help it.

agreed for minor cheap easy to get at bits mm maybe but for anything "important"
like ANY driveline or braking component errr NO not a chance in hell

I've had disco callipers off Britpart in the past and they've been no problem, also a water pump.

Ive had too many bad experiences with **** part.

Im an avid hater im afraid

I would not put anything with a machined or moving part made by britpart on my motor now. Im going to buy some gaskets tomorrow and i will actively avoid ****part if at all possible.

I know they do bud. My stuck record sounds similar to yours :p :D

I Mean that i will avoid them because i dont want them to function as a business because i feel there parts are so substandard. So i will feed other companies my money and spread the word about how **** ****part really are in the hope they go under. :)

I know :(

I dont have many principles but that is one of them. I actually hate the company.

I have a feeling i wont be able to get most of the parts tomorrow without some of those little blue and white boxes!

i did speak to them about some of the cheap **** ,its not what they want either, too many people buy by price from ebay and retailers demand them

luck of the draw i guess.

i have tried their UJs all failed within 3 months
brake pads two sets have fallen apart.
waterpump impeller sheared off in 6 months.
various diff n hub seals that either didn't or failed
after a few weeks.
oh and rubber prop couplings went through 3 thats THREE in
2 months replaced with a genuine one and lasted up until
i binned the prop and replaced the lot with a 200tdi unit.

i understand they source a lot of bits from china now:mad2:

I've got one and it works hard, been in 2 years and all is well, it's now paid for itself so if it fails now I'm happy enough to replace,I am Off Road almost every week for 6-8 hours at a time plus doing plenty of Road work and its still going strong, you pays your money and take your chances, but how many here slagging off the britPart clutches actually have or have had one?
