Daughter has a Disco 4. One of the several problems on the vehicle is that the rear offside door won’t open using the handle from the outside. Furthermore, the central locking doesn’t lock this door. Is this a known problem? I’m assuming the two problems are connected. Any hints on how to get the door card off so that I can take a look and see what’s happening.

However a search of YouTube shows me how to get the door card off. Do I assume that the lock actuator is broken and order another one. Pattern or OEM?

Well I dont own a D4, but LRs seem to have a problem of broken clips on door handle mechs.
As for getting the door card off, if the doors not locked so open it should be obvious (I dont own a D4 so dont shout at me)
When you use the fob can you hear the door in question try to do anything? as you have the door card off , can you see whats moving?

Thank you for your suggestions. I’ll have a look when I get home after the job I’m on is finished. (I’m away at sea for the next eight days. )
The part I’m getting quoted for includes Range Rovrr Evoque as well. I suppose it must be right…
