D2 Td5 POOR STARTING AFTER FUEL FILTER CHANGE

Yes mate. It was my lads td5 defender. Poor starting where it would just spin over on the starter. It's already had a new fuel pump last year, and gives a good 4 bar on the fuel pressure tester. He fitted new glow plugs, no different. New fuel filter, no difference. New battery, no difference. I bump started it and it fired up easily. Starter was knackered, and with a new one fitted it fired up first turn of the key. It's a week later and still fires up first time.

Update.... 3 weeks later and its still starting on the first turn. Did you resolve your starting issues ?
