The car won´t crank. Giving M+S flashing and gear position is flickering. Also get Code P0705 position switch monitoring. The feed to xyz switch from BCU C663/10 is 0v.
Disconected xyx switch and measured all contacts, seams to be OK.
In Nanocom the "BCU reley power" is 0v. Also BCU ignition 1,2,3 al OFF.
IDM ignition is ON and battery reading 12,6v.
I suspect BCU is broken but want to make shure i didnt miss something.
What can cause BCU relay power to turn on/off?
If i get another used BCU, do i need its EKA code?
Could it be immobilized?
FOB and doors lock as normal.

Eny ideas is appreciated/thanks

Check if you have power in C0660 pins 1, 3 and 13 against pin 11(earth) with ignition on and if you get +12V in all of them replace the BCU, disconnect the battery first then after replacement and battery reconnection turn ignition on(dont try to crank it at that stage) and let it turned on 5 minutes then off and try to crank it, a serious seller would give you the BCU's EKA code too albeit you can read it or modify it with nanocom. If the vehicle responds to the fob's unlock command once unlocked it's not immobilised. If no power in one of those pins we'll speak again

BTW when you turn ignition on is the radio working?

may help

i have +12v on al three, 1,3 and 13. Radio is working.
I guees i have to find a new BCU then.
i´m just curious if it´s just a relay inside BCU that is broken?
Best regards

i´m just curious if it´s just a relay inside BCU that is broken?
There are more electronic relays within it, i didnt open one to explore but as long as there is power on those pins the problem should be inside, that's in the user guide about those inputs:

· BCU switch power: This is the supply voltage as measured by the BCU at its transistor
switching circuit stages located within the BCU itself.
· BCU relay power: This is the supply voltage as measured by the BCU at the internal
relays located within the BCU itself.

after you replaced the BCU with the procedure i mentioned go to engine ECU utility and "learn security code" or it will not start
