ok my first post here....
my lads got a freelander mk1 1998 diesel l-series engine.
its been great untill 3 weeks ago and it went into limp mode (wont rev over 3k)
replaced injector number 1 (with wires on it) and everything was great.
drove back home 3 days ago and it cutout in the traffic, so turned off and started ok. did it again 1/2 mile down the road, and started ok.
it did it several time that night so he came home and we planned to have a proper look the next day.
next morning he started it ok, but it cut out 100 yards from the workshop, we sussed it had no fuel coming through so blew the fuel lines out replaced the hand primer as that wasnt working and craked the injectors off to bleed the diesel through.nope nothing.
changed the fuel injector pump....nothing, changed the cps as rovacom box didnt read rpm (but cheapo autotek did).....nothing
runs on easy start
