The CC ECU lives inside the plastic housing, under the driver's seat.

The CC ECU needs programming to the engine ECU in order for it to work. A new ECU will be blank and will need programming to the engine ECU.

I hva a 2005 Td4. Thevcruise control switch iĺuminates, as does the tell tale on the dash, but the system is not working. I have purchased a replacement control ecu from ebay, but have no idea where the unit lives.
Any advice would be most welcome

After checking under the right hand seat there is no sign of the CC ECU, could be the problem. I will firtle around for the connector and see if my replacement works.
