crew cab for expedition?

hi
finally moved away from my discos and purchased a defender crew cab with the intentions of doing the usual add ons and going through morocco in it.
Is it adviseable in a crew cab? i have an ifor truck top on the back but is my gear likely to get nicked?
ANyone with advice would be welcome

Providing you stay out of cities and dont leave it for too long it should be fine. Does the Ifor have a secure back?

I didn`t ever care too much about thiefs in morocco, In town find yourself a "guard" for your car and on the countryside people were always friendly. Information is 6 years old but I don`t think that things have changed to much down there.
