Creeky noise

My 300 has developed a creeking noise when I press the clutch. I've had a listen and it sounds like its coming from in the bellhousing. When I changed the engine a couple of weeks ago, I fitted a modded clutch arm and put a dab of grease on all the areas that had previous grease on them.

It doesn't sound too nice and I'm guessing I'll have to go in there and have a look, but in the mean time anyone got any ideas on what it is?

Could it be the clutch pedal pivot?

No it sounds like its inside the bellhousing

I imagine so, but why would it creek? Normally bearings squeel or rumble

I had the same after a new clutch was fitted in my TD5.
I took it back (after everything else had been changed-master, slave, pivot greased)
and they fitted another new clutch. I think the first clutch was the cheapest available, as it was done under warranty.
The new clutch has been fine, no creaking at all.
