I would have bin intrested Mark if i hadnt just bought this one,Cos it duz look nice and a V6 oooooooooooo nice! or as Ming would say [ITS THE DOG WOTSITS]
 
Well I woke up this morning and thought to myself "this is the day the Hippo could go".
The misses wants a MG TF so I'm going to PX the Hippo on the car she wants. That way, if I use the Parkers guide as a bargaining tool I can get £5500 PX for the Hippo. Sorted. I'm kind of thinking things won't be that easy though. We'll see what happens I guess ???
 
Well the Hippo has finally gone chaps and I'm missing her all ready.
The wife now has her rather nice looking MG TF for the summer and I'm left with no car until the company car turns up, hopefully next week :rolleyes:

Don't fear though, Ill stick around to give advice and keep the Disco lot at bay !!

Hi Mark,

Congratulations with the new car, looks really great and with the summer ahead it must be a dream driving it. Poor you in your non-A/C Corsa to come (or hope for you it will be at least a Vectra)???:D :D :D
 
New car looks great Mark - let's hope you got a good deal on her, one of the few good things (if it can be considered good) from the demise of Rover - there are some real bargains to be had from MG Rover - did you manage to source a warranty as well??
Hopefully you will stick around and continue to chip in with your friendly comments & wit mate.

I may be asking the bleedin obvious here but why do people obscure the number plates on pics of motors on t'interweb?? I am missing summat really really obvious here??
 
@ Willo, I'm getting a new Ford Mondeo Zetec TDCi. I know it's not a FReelander but I never pay for fuel again :D It has climate control, don't worry.
@ Outlander, got a 6 month warranty with it but from experience they're not worth a toss. I'm sticking around because you guys make me laugh.....sometimes. One of the better forums I've joined ;)
@ Mondo, it's not a V6 but boy does it sound sweet. 160bhp just behind the seats :D Grin factor is off the scale and corners a little better than the Hippo did.

Yep nice motor Mark,youve now set Mrs MING orft, she wants her own rocket so i said i would get her one outa the fleet ,last week she wanted it in yellow , but for some reason , she now hates that colour , . . . .:) :rolleyes:
 
You got to ask the question "does Mrs Ming deserve a new toy"?
Yellow space rockets are trendy this time of year. Why does she not want a yellow now?

Not gonna get involved Mark she reckons its an old dated and rather crude colour for a rocket , women eh [from another planet]. . .:D
 
well slurry you have truly dissapointed me, THAT is the gayest car i have ever seen, i know you say its for the child bride you hide well from other men but lets face facts, it will be YOU nipping to the shops on a sunny day in it, no doubt in white linen trousers and will young playing on the cd . very VERY dissapointed in you ;)
 
Not my car yella. It's the wifes, really it is. When it's a hot sunny day and I have to go to the shops for some groceries I'll take the Mondeo ;)
