It appears that the LZ boards search function is currently unavailable so I will ask here.
Does anyone know the typical cost of having all 4 air-suspension units replaced?
I was underneath my Rangie with it on extended ride height and the granular appearance of the rubber air-suspension units makes me suspect that they are probably in need of replacement.
Its not a job I am likely to be able to do myself (for many reasons) so does anyone know an approximate parts & labour cost to have it done?

It's an easy DIY job, but at a dealer I would expect an eye watering bill. You might be able to find an independent to do the job with you supplying the air bags, in which case say £300 for the airbags plus 4 hours labour max.

Thanks @Datatek its a mixture of "lack of confidence" and "lack of facilities" (no garage and no adequate tools). Maybe its time I got some HD axle/chassis stands and man'd-up for this sort of thing.
As a kid I would take heads off cars and do whatever was needed to keep a motor running/on the road. I guess I've become lazy over the past 40 years.
 
Island 4x4 do a set of 4 genuine Dunlop air springs for £187.49 + VAT and a set of the clips for bot front/rear springs for £6.25 + VAT. So just over £230 inc VAT for the springs and new clips. Then I guess it's just whatever your local garage would charge to change them.

The last set I did for an owner was on a gravel driveway... but a punch set and a small crowbar were useful for getting the old rear ones out as they were a bit rusted in at the top!

To search from Google type you search and then at the end put a colon and the website address to just search that address, e.g.

replace all 4 airbags :www.landyzone.co.uk

Have a look at Datatek's How To in the Technical Section. It isn't a bad job.

Have ordered 3Ton ratchet axle-stands and a trolley jack because I'm not happy to work off a roadside "spare-wheel-change" jack.
Will probably try a DIY once I have read @Datatek 's guidance notes.

It's a very simple task. No need of special tools. Read Datatech's guidance.
I'm no mechanic but it was one of my first tasks with RR.
Take care, I managed to blow off one of bottom supports on a front bag.:eek::eek: you know, first time errors.......:D:D

I was searching for a bit of a heads up to change the bags because the fronts are on my "to do" list. One I found was this youtube vid from Rimmers, handy illustration of how it fits together. Other suppliers of the bits are available.

Yes, thank you I have seen that one too. I would imagine that having a real hoist so you can walk round the car and do the job (rather than grovelling on your knees/back) is a real bonus. :D
 
I used an old metal coat-hanger bent over to yank my pins out. I also took the wheel-liner out on driver's front to improve access and that made it an absolute doddle. My liners pop out easily because I have no fancy trims or mudflaps.
