Freelander 1, 2002, TD4.
Investigating what I though was a thermostat housing leak, turns out the leak is a pin hole in a core plug situated just above the thermostat housing.
Looks fairly inaccessable and only viewable via a mirror!
Cannot find a diagram showing the core plug.
Is this replaceable without removing major components, like the cylinder head?
Any advice?
Much appreciated, wouldn't want this to be the end of the old girl, we have been together since new and done 280k miles together!.....
