Freelander 1 Converting a commercial to a car

Hi, I have a 55 plate freelander commercial that I am looking to convert into a car. Can anyone give me any advice as to how I do this and where I can get a conversion kit (if they exist) ie rear seat and windows. Any help would be gratefully appreciated

No conversion kit is available. All the parts from a standard 3 door will fit however.
The conversion has been done many times. There's a few posters on here that have done it.

Thank you for your reply, I guess I just need to advertise and ask for the bits. Would it just be rear seats, seat belts and windows that I need I guess?

Don't forget to inform insurance and DVLA (or whatever the latest name is!) as you're changing type from commercial to passenger and tax changes etc.

Wouldn't it be easier to sell the Commercial and buy another Freelander to suit your needs?

This is what I'd do. Particularly as the commercial seems to command a higher price over a normal hard back.

Thank you everyone. I would actually like to sell the commercial because I don't have a need for a large vehicle anymore due to only having one dog. My reasons for keeping it and turning it into a car are because it's been so well maintained (I've had it for over 6 years) and selling it doesn't seem easy as its seem like a bit of a niche market. But if I could get rid of it easily I would. Maybe that is my best option. Thank you all.

Captain_28. You should know that you have to put up 50 posts before you can sell anything via this site. However, if you were to sell your Commercial from another site, how much would you be asking for it? Oh, and by the way, which site would you sell it on?
