that's not very nice you could have at least helped the fellow he is from NZ and it is a series one, my advice to the OP would be to upgrade to series 2 front and rear axles and convert the front brakes to twin leading shoe and don't touch anything else for Christ sake series one station wagons are rare as rocking horse **** so don't go butchering one leave it with the funky pedals and man up oh and put the original axles in storage for they should stay with the vehicleYes go to the introduce yourself area quick before the locals start throwing their handbags about
Behave! I was being nice, I can offer little advice when it comes to early series, but I can however try and help a new member avoid the grilling some get when they ask for advice without introducing themselves, and given the amount of posts you have I'm sure you must have witnessed
