No surprise there at all. Having read only a few threads on this NG, I can
immediately see that you are an EXTREMELY good driver who knows all the
answers.

Were there other SUV's or vehicles that were tested in the issue along
with X5? If so, can you please tell me how they performed and how
they were ranked by CR? Thanks.

They tested the following vehicles:
Avoidance
Emergency Maneuver
Vehicle Handling Max Speed
----------- ---------- ---------
Lexus RX330 Good 52.0
Acura MDX Fair 46.0
Infiniti FX Good 49.0
BMW X5 Poor 52.5
Volvo XC90 Good 50.5
VW Touareg Good 47.5

Seems like the BMX sticks to the road so well, that it falls over rather
than skids off the road. I'll bet BMW could fix the tipsy problem by
installing some Firestone tires and lowering the inflation pressure to
slightly below the opitmum pressure for good handling.

Sadly, man of CRs online readers will not be well informed enough to get
that joke :)
