Cold start, glow plugs and lost volts

Well, I left the battery on charge overnight Wednesday and Thursday morning I gave it 3x30 seconds glow and it started quite quickly. Outside temp was -6.

It started this morning with just 1x30 seconds glow but temp was +4 (ish).

I still don't think I've cured the problem but I must have improved it with all that I've done.

Maybe I just have to accept the fact that after 26 years and 193K, when it gets down to -10 I will have difficulty starting. After all, it's not exactly a pampered vehicle
