Bonjour

Hello
I am the happy owner of a 3-door td4 since the end of 2011
I recently decided to get rid of it, because following a major health problem I no longer use it
It has been in the garage for a year
For a while now I have a trunk that remained closed the unlocking mechanism of the door controls the s and the window regulator lowered the window but impossible to unlock the
The door My mechanic dismantled and replaced the door locking mechanism
Once replaced the door 'e no longer works at all the door window is lowered and refuses to go up and the locking mechanism no longer works
Today passage to the suitcase for a diagnosis 17 faults
No one responsible at first sight help help

The window won't go up because it thinks the door is open.

There is a sensor in the door locking mechanism that tells the 'computer', which controls these things, if the door is open (think its a/the blue plug) - it will likely ether be faulty or the mechanic forgot to plug the wire back in.

Bonjour

My spoken French is not too bad, but written French is just too hard, my written English is not that good, but I can read French okay so use google translate, then just correct the bits google gets wrong, if I am doing a quote for a French customer or more often for a insurance company or notaire (for house sale) I normally get someone to check it first as it can be correct but just not the way the French would word it

Bonjour, (that's my limit🤣🤣).
If the window is down & everything else is OK the tailgate should still open. Have you tried disconnecting the battery for a minute then reconnecting it ? Once reconnected use the tailgate switch in the centre consol to (raise) recalibrate the window, you hear beeps when it's in the closed position (using the switch, sometimes it drops again but just repeat the process). If that works OK & then the window should drop when the tailgate release is operated, if not as @GrumpyGel says then it's a wiring/microswitch fault, all the best.

Bonjour

Still impressed!
But as you say, Google does make boo-boos Frinstance a casr window is a "vitre" a house window, the whole thing frame an all is a "fenetre" a shop window is a "vitrine".
Flipping frog, eh?!
🤣 🤣
It was noticeable to me that Christophe who I have been working with on the roof the past three days, makes as many gender mistakes as I do!! and he is no fool, retired "commandant" from the army. We were both constantly correcting ourselves when we talked about "tuiles" as if they were masculine.

Don't blame you getting impiortant stuff checked.

Good morning
The tailgate is in the open position with the door handle no longer having any action and the open window no longer moving with the switch.
I cannot close my trunk and the battery is not discharged we replaced the lock because before the trunk was stuck closed

Hi, with the tailgate open the window switch will not operate the window so that's ok (how it should be). With the tail gate open if you operate the tailgate release you should still hear the mechanism working so given you've had a replacement mechanism already & as long as you know it was in good working order, I would double check the wiring, good luck.

I have had the problem for some time that I need to push the boot shut for the window to go up the last little bit I did adjust everything and it did work okay for a bit but now is playing up and the car thinks the boot is open when driving and when I lock the doors it hoots at me to say boot open, not a big problem for us, when I changed the battery I had to push the boot shut and get someone to press the button inside to reset window. Need to spend some time on it, might need new micro switch but expect will need to buy the complete unit
