After a couple of days not driving .td5 pedal has very little pressure only last inch or two
very difficult to get into gear..after about 20 miles clutch seams to return ..any advice please

Sounds like hydraulics, master- slave cylinder, not disengaging the clutch, mine went the same way, have you a small oil stain on the drivers side floor below the clutch pedal?
From my experience if they have failed change both, don't buy rock bottom price get better quality, cheaper in the long run
