Hi All,

I'm looking for a bit of advice on what to check on my 300TDi D1. Its been parked up for a few days and i come to it and noticed it was hard to get into gear. After minute or two i realised that half the travel in the clutch on the way down was no resistance then bites. It still drives but makes things harder when changing gear and a bit more force to get into gears.

Any ideas.

yes theres a nipple underneath on the side of the gearbox, you can gravity bleed it just open the nipple and let some fluid out then re-tighten but make sure you top up the fluid first

if the clutch fork wears through the pedal will go hard and you wont be able to press it down at all, i did my missus one a while ago, try bleeding it

Sounds better on the pocket if bleeding it works. just dont understand why all of a sudden its gone soft
