Just bought 300 TDi. 'N' reg, with a new clutch fitted 2000 miles ago. It has started to bite at the top of the pedal, does it need adjusting and how do I do that? Thanks in advance
 
no adjustment as it is all hydraulic with fixed pushrod length. do you have a reciept for the clutch renewal?
 
no receipt as was done by previos owner just before i bought it,its my 1st landy only owned for 8 weeks,thanks for your reply
 
Had my clutch replaced 2 months ago;300tdi.
Was shown the old one but have n't noticed any real difference.
I guess at high mileage 186k the flywheel has grooves so maybe the clutch friction plate needs to 'bed in'
