Hi
Has anyone had this problem, the clutch pedal stays on the floor more so when held down for a period say at lights if you lift the pedal the cluch works fine

My Hippo has a slightly lazy clutch pedal if it hasn't been used for a while. Soon comes back to normal after an hour or two though.

I've been told this is indicative of the master cylinder failing but I'll worry about that when it gets to be a problem. It looks to be a simple enough job to replace the master/slave assembly anyhow.

If its a td4 then the slave is in the bell houseing (quite a big job ) i would go for the master which is fixed to the bulk head which is £108.00 from LR. Thats what the prob was on mine, clutch is like new now
