Hi all

The mechanic at my LR garage says that my flywheel is going and the clutch needs replacing. My OH can do the mechanics of changing it all but I want to spend my money wisely if the change is labour intensive. I don't want is done every month!

So, what is recommended? Please quote prices if you know them. I've heard bad things about certain brands...

Thanks

A standard clutch and flywheel will be fine unless your doing quite a lot of heavy towing coupled with some engine tuning, longer gearing or bigger wheels.

I do some horse towing, will this make a difference?

There a lots of makes/brands available and I need help with that :)

When replacing the clutch, make sure you use a new spigot bearing for the crankshaft too or it'll wreak your head afterwards.

Does anyone know the part number for a Td5 spigot bearing? I haven't been able to find it. Sorry for the hijack.

I also agree.. get the valeo clutch kit.
