Clunking noise when turning right

Afternoon folks.

I've noticed a clunking/rumbling noise coming from the front left wheel area when I turn right?

Could this be the bearings? Or something else?

2003 td4 btw.

have a similar issue. did you find out what it was?

no noises when driving. but when pulling up hard from steady at full rock to the left. I hear a clank or 2 slightly loud from front underneath the car everything on the suspension looks solid and no wear.
recently had a split boot on the outer driver side cv and replaced the boot after repacking with cv grease. it popped off coz it was stretched due to freelander having a 50mm lift so replaced with another quality universal boot and again repacked with grease which holds to comfortably to date.
I know cvs click rather than clank when worn so not sure on next step.

Mines made the double clunk sound for years.
I do this.
I live on a dead end, so drive to the top of the road, reverse full lock right, then forward full lock left, pull up outside the house, apply brakes, clunk clunk.
I've rebuilt the brakes, new guide pins, the lot. No difference, so it's not them. Not the suspension, it's a bit worn but no clunks. Next I'm replacing the large rear bushes on the front swing arms. If that doesn't sort it I'm guessing it's the front swing arm front bushes that are moving slightly to resettle after full lock is applied. But that's easier to replace the whole arms, which will be a garage job as my torque wrench won't tighten them enough.

I have replaced all front bushes on mine to polybush so not them. mine does it when pulling up slightly harder than usual on full lock to the left. thhink I will be installing a small camera facing the suspention and drive shaft and see If I can see any movement compatable with the sound.
your's sound more like lower engine mount. the one near the IRD mine did same when mine had a loose bolt. after replacing the bush.
 
You can check the drive shaft CV joints by lying under the front of the car and pushing the drive shaft with your hand. They are meant to slide in and out of the cups a little but any other noticeable movement means a dodgy CV joint.
 
Both origional. Have a set of after market ones (one britpart and other 4x4something) which I had installed when I lifted the hippo bit removed them shortly after due to issues i had with them. Still have them and outer cvs fit the origional ones which I can use in case i need to replace cv. But trying to confirm before I go ahead and change it.
