Hi all, new here, I was wondering if anyone would be able to spread some knowledge on a noise from my r380 gearbox. It makes the noise in 4th and 5th, the clicking noise is more frequent the faster you go and sounds louder under more load, sounds the same in hi or low, the noise is very faint when pressing the clutch or removing from gear and engaging the clutch (freewheeling)
I changed the oil a few days ago, the oil wasn’t too discoloured however there was a fair amount of shavings on the drain plug (picture attached).
The gearbox feels good, goes in all gears smoothly without any crunching
