Hi guys, just wondering if anyone has immediate ideas what's causing this leak. Drove from Wales to Cornwall last night, parked up and stayed in situ. This afternoon I've noticed the leak. It's a clear non greasy fluid and appears to have stopped leaking, though can see a drip sitting on the front bulkhead to the driver's near side. Any feedback would be much appreciated as need to get back to Wales in a few days. Cheers. X

So in the photos, is that where it dripped? compared to motor position?

The leak spot is actually where it's settled as the truck has been sat in situ since I arrived last night. I've never seen it leak there before.

Look above that is there any leakage around the steering box? pinkish fluid? dripping from the drop arm?

It's dark now to see. Yet I did put some white kitchen cloth over the leak spot earlier and run the engine for a few minutes and it dripped again slightly which left a very pale pink colour on the cloth.
Yes, there is antifreeze in it. Last filled up when the snow fell March time.

You need to get under it and take a shufti,
It sound like it could be AF, but double check it is not Power steering fluid.
Have you checked the fluid level of either?

P-S fluid is quite oily and pink...what does it smell of? If it's water, the patch would have dried out unless it's a slow drip...bottom rad hose loose?
Where do you mean, drip on the front bulkhead on the engine side or the cab side?

FYI, to save confusion:
Bulkhead would normally be the panel between the engine bay and the passenger compartment.

It's not the bulkhead then! The drip is sitting on the on a thick bar (about 3"x 3") immediately behind my Bull bar.

Bearing in mind it is poisonous, and maybe the local dog has been there.
if you taste it , what does it taste like? do not savour the taste, spit it out.....LOL.

I've taken a Shufti... I've run my hand over a hose (approx 1" thick) and there's no liquid or wetness sitting on it.
The patch is still on the ground and has dried up or got bigger. I've run my fingers in the patch, it's clear, only slightly greasy and has a very light oily scent. Sorry couldnt take any photos as it's too dark to take with mobile and had no separate torch.
