Classic tailgate

Hi folks, I appreciate that I'm probably p...ing in the wind here but does anyone any idea where I might be able to locate an old stock rubber tailgate seal (the wide one that attaches to the bottom of the upper TG & seals against the lower TG when both are closed. The part # appears to be MXC8422 (though I have seen # 390345) but despite trawling through many LR parts outlets on-line the item seems to be unobtainable / discontinued. I've had repairs done to the bottom of my top TG & although the metal strip holding the aforementioned seal is toast due to corrosion the framework has proved totally repairable & the plan is to bond a new seal onto it. I still have the original rubber but although in one piece it is misshapen due to age.

It was unattainable when i had my classics many years ago, so i might be worth rebonding/reusing the original.
