Classic body mount welding

i have done a search but, was incapable of finding what I'm after. Has anyone welded new body mounts to a classic? More to it than it looks? Or just as horrible as it looks with waxoyl for good measure?

IME, yep, its as much of a pain as it looks - some of them are a right PITA to get to.... dirty waxoyl/underseal/carp on the outside, and then flammable stuff above, on the inside.

Prep is the the key to it, every hour spent prepping will be worth it, a messy complete ball ache,

but worth it

they are part of the inner sill best replaced as such ,or if rear as the whole cross member

rear cross member, sill front or rear, bulkhead or light box ?

How bad are the sills?
May be worth doing a box section steel replacement for both sides
