Have you looked on Vintage Model Airplane and Rover SD1 3500cc Twin Plenum Vitesse this is a site created by a guy called Ramon Alban, knows his flapper systems; he used to post on LZ but not seen anything from him in ages. Anyway, his site deals with the Rover SD1 but the EFI and ignition are AFAIK the same. Maybe you'll get some inspiration from Ramon's experiences.
