Just starting a new thread for my Series 2a.
A few months ago after a 3 year restoration / refurb included some photos and details in the Introduction section.
Thought time I should commemce its own thread as I have fun with it. And its first break down. Alternator packed up.
So here goes with some photos of how it looks.

Nice looking Series. And well done for posting a Members Vehicle in the Members Vehicle section! :):)

Originally it was a petrol. Converted in 93 to diesel. I converted it back. Using a series 3 as a donor. The series 3 was known to myself being under a hedge for a long time. 6 years. But all there if very sad for itself. Any way it donated its engine and boxs to mine complete with alternator. The alternator packed up on thirsday. Charginging light on. 12 volts at both plug connections to back of alternator. So ripped off to see if servicable. Thought it was a 17acr that was servicable. But apparently a later swapped in item so £50 spent on a new 17acr arriving next week.
