It'll have to be yer rear axle cause you int got a front one atm
i got a genny if someone can fix it
You trying out your reverse psycology again..
See I told you to be quiet about mentioning the C word - think I ought to not bring any to keep him happy- sure Boomer'll be more than happy to explain why to you all
If you want to bring cake, fine..... I personally have no issues with that - but the groups won't be waiting around for you to arrive at the meeting point with said cake if you happen to be running late....
If I'm not there at the start point on time , then I have bigger problems that not having cakes for groups- it means I 'm lost somewhere in Dorset with no idea how to get home or to Beasty's field
My main concern is shelter and it's pretty much sorted. Planning on a semi-circle of open fronted bedouin style shelters with a large central fire.
Got enough tarp now and a small genny to run lights and a small sound system. Hopefull the lights are sorted but a little amp and speakers would be good if anyone has something suitable.
I have lots of plastic to put down and a few pieces of old carpet but more would be good.
So long as I pass me MOT tomorrow I'll be going back down next weekend to cut up the firewood and do a little pruning around the gateway. Robint's lending me his heavy duty strimming kit so at least the paths and sheltered area will be trimmed.
Me pikey wagon has got an awning, so there'll be some more shelter there...
Plus I'm hoping to have mains power from an inverter, although it's only 600w... I have a Bose Sound Dock that will run off it, that's loud enough for a small party...
I'll also speak to the Nagger's step-dad (the pub landlord), see if a barrel of 6X is a possibility... don't hold yer breath though...
Sounds good. Imagine something like yer sound dock is ideal.
I have a small genny and an 1800w invertor, between us it shouldn't be a problem to run a couple of strings of lights and some sound which is all we need lecky wise.
Cooking on gas and I also have a couple of half beer barrel burners which are great for keeping a kettle or 2 boiling and make get heaters on the downwind side of shelters. Also have a couple of decent sized fire blackened kettles.
An abundance of standing dead elm there for firewood which I'll cut this weekend.
What would really make a difference is old carpets/rugs to go on top of the plastic groundsheets, I have a few pieces but no-where near enough.
I should be able to come up with some funds for beer if you can work a deal......I have family in the trade and blood may be thicker than water but not as thick as beer it would seem

I got a big old rug the size of the beast which i can chuck in the back and can be added to the list
