Hi all,

My boys love coming in my Defender with me but I have no centre seat. It's a 200tdi 110 Commercial.

I'd like to be able to take them both out at the same time instead of using the family car as it means the dog and kids can get dirty and it doesn't matter. Also it's far more fun bouncing around in the Landy.

They are 3.5 and 2 so both in forward facing child seats. The seats fit nicely width wise but before I find and purchase a seat I've been trying to find pictures of forward facing child seats in the centre seat. I've seen one in a series 3 a long while ago but can't find any pictures of a Defender with one in.

Anyone use this set up?

Dave!

The strapped in seats are far sturdier than the isofix mounts which let the seat move round much more. Isofix is a great system but a well fitted seatbelt is equally as good, our Merc belt has no ability to move once fully pulled out.

I'd fit a 3 point belt if it looks like the set-up will work, I am unsure how close they will be to the gearstick.

Dave!
