Chequer plate for 3 door 98 300TDi XS

Any ideas where I can get a chequer plate kit for my 3 door 98 300TDi XS ? The bottom of the doors are beginning to go, and the panel in front of both rear wheel arches has recently crumbled after a good jet wash.

I reckon it's cheaper to cover with chequer plate, after trying to treat the rust and seal it.

I can only find the Rebel kit, but it seems not to be for the XS. Any suggestions ?

i found chequer plate for my 5 door on ebay for £49.50 all cut and ready to fit...im sure they will have it on for yours..just have a look.

I went onto e-bay, and found a set for a three door, but also found why they are not recommended for the XS. Apparently the rubbing strip trim is slightly wider than on other 3-doors, and the chequer plates will have to be trimmed slightly to fit.

I figure a set of black ones will look slightly less "bling", but slightly better than the current grey rust patches.
