Yep, once you get it running you have to cycle each window in turn to the fully open and fully closed position to set the windows and sunroof....Cheers autobiography will sort those when i get the car running again if i ever do....

I'll let rob bring you all up to date.
Yeah! I've got a lot on, & this problem was a tad tricky.
But, i said i will get this vehicle running without seeing it, & my reputation stands.

OK GUYS IVE JUST GOT IN FROM WORK SO YOU ARE ALL AHEAD OF ME IVE JUST FOUND OUT AT 8.30PM
Ok this is what i know i got a text of Rick circular of 1pm lunchtime today..
Rick has spent time and traced the fault down to what appears to be a fault on the Ebcm to be fair this is all i know as ive not spoken to Rick myself but i have not got my parts or replacement parts back yet and cant 100% confirm untill i turn the key and that 4.6 v8 purrs into live and breaths through those janspeed exhausts..
But reading Ricks posts above he seems 100% confident that he has found the problem but like i said ive not spoken to rick or know what he has actually done or found as yet.
But his posts show he is very confident i must say ive a little spring in my step tonight
I'm glad to hear everything might be ok , but I thought your Ebcm had been tested already after having it fixed for the headlight, siren, and hazards issue but here's hopingOK GUYS IVE JUST GOT IN FROM WORK SO YOU ARE ALL AHEAD OF ME IVE JUST FOUND OUT AT 8.30PM

Rick has spent time and traced the problem and hopefully has solved the issue, its all a bit technical for me as you know I am not a electronics guru, but if Rick can get my Range Rover back on the black stuff, I will bow to his knowledge and let him do his black magic - I just can't wait to get my Rangie on the road...although ive not tried it yet obviouslylol....

just thought your one was tested originally when it got fixed if I remember ..Defender300tdi. Yeah your correct the Ebcm was replaced and it did fix the original fault of the headlights and horns and hazard warning lights going off etc but it still did it start after it was fitted etc...to be honest I don't understand how these things work or indeed the results until I get it fitted etc I'm going to call rick from work this morning see if I can find anymore details out etc
