I ordered 5 new Cooper ST Maxx from tyreleader, what arrived was 3 ST Maxx and 2 STT's, I followed their system and refused to sign for the 2 wrongly sent ones and emailed their 'support'... I got a couple of meaningless responses a few days apart so ended up buying 2 more tyres from another company to get back on the road.
I tried posting a negative reviews on their 'trustpilot' site but they just remove them.
I got no response from TL until I started posting directly on trustpilots page then they emailed me to say the returned tyres had been removed from courier storage, where they had been for the last 15 days and would be 'considered' for a refund no less than 10 days after they had arrived back in their warehouse.....
Trustpilot have now stopped posting my reviews of tyreleader on their site.
A bit of research has revealed the following;
Another reviewer suggests that tyreleader 'left' Germany because of 'financial discrepancy' cases pending against them and now, despite the '.co.uk' web appendix are based in the tax haven of Andorra where they are immune from EU and UK law.
A perusal of some of the thousands of 1star reviews (that don't appear on their website) shows a fair percentage of wrong or damaged goods supplied, Poor to non existent customer support (email only, no phone number), customers still waiting for refunds after months and consistently refusing to post poor reviews so intentionally misleading potential customers as to the quality of their service.
A quick look at European motoring forums shows warnings about tyreleader on every one I've seen so it appears they are now targeting the UK market.
I and thousands of other people have lost money to them- take care.

I had a problem with Tryeleader a couple of years ago. I ordered 4 Copper tyres, only 2 of which arrived. I emailed them loads, getting various excuses as to where the missing tyres were. I ended up having to claim half the money back via the card issuer.

Then I noticed on my card statement, that Tyreleader had only charged me for another pair of tyres, to cover the cost of the two I'd just claimed back from them. I had to contact my card issuer fraud department, so I could recover the illegally taken money, and stop any further debits from my account.

I'd used them before without an issue, but wouldn't use them again.

Complete crooks.

I bought another pair off Ebay, and saved a few quid in the process.

Your experience mirrors my recent experience with so called customer service at AutoDoc (also based in Germany ) when ordering parts for my BMW.
In my case I wish I'd read the reviews before ordering, it's too long a story for here but needless to say 'once bitten, twice shy'

Really? I've ordered various Alfa bits off them and found them to be pretty good.

So have a lot of people, the problems occur when they supply an incorrect part. In my case one component of a kit was not compatible but, despite AD sending a returns label, upon receipt of the item they refused to refund unless I sent the entire kit back … tricky when I'd used the oil & gaskets prior to discovering the rogue component ! Four times I emailed my situation & four times they offered to return the same component to me, at my expense!

The company's reviews make interesting reading on customer care issues :p

I used Tyreleader for 4 tyres. I got 2.
Then I got a call from a guy in Northern Ireland who had my other 2 tyres.
Apparently, the sticky labels got transferred in transit so half of my shipment went to him. I've no idea where his went.

Ive used RoundTrip tyres recently and only 3 tyres arrived. Im still waiting for the 4th tyre 3 weeks later. They have been in touch about it but it seems all their tyres get shipped from Holland. It seems to be DPD the couriers fault.
Hopefully the replacement tyre arrives today. The 4 modulars from Paddocks all arrived within 3 days!

I used Oponeo, good at first but not so good recently - prices have gone up a lot. But what I noticed was that I was buying from Germany but the tyres were coming from Poland.

There's a lot of this happening these days. I had a set of Michelins fitted to our daily driver recently, turns out that this household name for tyres produced them not in France but Italy

We used Black Circles a while ago.... they sent the tyres to a local agent .... I took them wheels to fit the tyres on to, but they were adamant they needed my car keys to fit the tyres .... o_O they got stroppy and, IIRC, refused to fit them whilst I waited - so I had to go back later that day to collect the wheels.:mad::mad:

I won't use them again.

We've used BigTyres since - no problems ( www.bigtyres.co.uk ) ( no affiliation etc. ....)

I used to use BlackCircles and had good service and keen prices. I would get them delivered to home then get them fitted locally. Did the same 6 months ago, savings on tyres were less, got them delivered to home then found all the local tyre places have closed ranks to charge £25 per wheel to fit and balance which killed any saving I'd made.

£100 to fit 4 tyres / supply valves / balance / dispose of old tyres ?
Glad I don't live in your area o_O
