Ah well, that explains it all then... we were all told the Mayflower 'pilgrims' were fleeing from religious persecution.

MAYFLOWER...... who said anything about the Mayflower? That was the rich folk crossing..... my great great great great great grandaddy swam across.

my great great great great great grandaddy swam across.

At least now we know where the US obesity problem came from - AFAIK only thing that can swim the atlantic is of the genus Physeter... you should have said you wuz from Connecticut!

Safe...where is the fun in safe? And I think you mean the AAA man and he will not go where I tend to get stuck. AA is for drunks, and I really would not want to see a bunch of drunks try'n to get my rig out.

P.S. Sorry about the rig thing... I understand in such a little country there is no trails so no use for a trail rig. Off roading for you guys must be sneaking down a cobblestone ally.
a think no, a say theres more mud, steeper hills, rockier rocks and wetter water than you could get anywher "across the pond" as you wud say:p

And the rains fell for 40 days and 40 nights......... Noah was there looking after all those animals. You can imaging how much 'manure' built up over that time....... One day Noah said to his wife "It really is building up here and we are running out of space on this Ark.... what should we do with all this 'manure'?" Noah's wife suggested that they roll it all up into a big ball and slide it off the stern of the Ark. So that is exactly what they did and there was an almighty 'splash' as the millions of tons of 'manure' crashed into the seas.......... And there it lay until 1492 when Columbus discovered it!!!

Seems he has a knack for discovering sh*t places!!
What I am saying is that you are implying that the US is a pile of ****.....Which is probably true, but Columbus did not discover the US....he discovered the Americas i.e. the Bahama Islands. The closest he ever got to what is now the U.S. is Cuba on his first voyage. The three subsequent voyages he went south towards South America. Damn....some people are dense....

Did I mention the US? No, I don't think I did, it must be your guilty concience? I know he discovered the Americas, now that would be what we know today as North (US and Canada), Central (Mexico etc) and South (Brazil and others) so either way he discovered what was to become the US (Part of North America). My original story still stands. :-D
