Hi everyone,
I am thinking about replace my tires to abigger one. Now I have 235/70/16r and I thinking about two different sizes:
1- 245/75/16r
2- 235/85/16r
I have been told that first option does not require additional changes like appgrade the axles and differentials and the second option does.
I don't have the possibility to invest alot of money to appgrade other parts nor to pay for the damage that replacing the tires will cause if I won't do it right.
I will be glad to ear your opinion about that, learn from your experience.
By the way both of the options are not legal in Israel so I have some more considerations :-(

Finally I did it
I replaced my legal tires to 245/75/16 which is not legal in Israel. I would like to ear from you how is it in England? Is this size is legal? If it is, can you send me the file that approve it? I am trying to change the decision of the authorities in Israel about that
Thanks 😊

As far as I'm aware! Illegal tyres in the UK! Are tyres with a minimum depth of tread below 1.6mm??

The size! I.e.

Width!
Profile!
Rim Size!
Speed Rating

Are not an issue? That is upto the driver!!

Different laws here in the UK. We can run any size we want on any vehicle. They tyres just need have a minimum amount of tread, no major damage and don't stick outside of the vehicle.
