a joy to use. select 1st,1 2 or 3 depending on load, then 2nd and half clutch it all the way. a very fast box considering the age.

brakes, window if rolled down and your arse if you eat enough beans
Gearshift air assisted and clutch on later vehicles (for whimps)
brakes mainly.

And the air opperated stop flag on AEC vehicles of the fifties and sixties
Now they have automatic tyre inflaters so you never have a soft tyre

Not in a crash box (no syncros) just dont use the clutch
would like one of those.
