Why the post office insisted on using Eaton twin split gearbox fitted lorries amazed me, I could never get used to them and was forever crunching the gears. So this is a doddle.
Old thread revive , Just searching changing from hi to low , But Eaton 2 speed axles !! , How I remember it was you press/pull the button Dip the clutch and in it went , normally all done on a gear change . Yes doublydy the clutch lol

Soooooooooo many people cannot double declutch nowadays. They probably, if told they needed to do it, would look for an "App" to do it for them on their smartphone!!!

Question: is there a App for that ? :).
But why bother when there’s now Forums.
I took my driving test double de-clutching, the examiner didn’t mind after I explained the synchro bits & bobs in the box were broken, it was call a synchro cone I later found out.

I have owned so many old cars in my life, with worn out synchro on 2nd that double declutching became totally normal. I even learnt to do it while heeling and toeing in my old minis in my leat teens with stack shoes! There is a section in the old film "Grand Prix", with Graham Hill actually acting in it, where the screen is split into two or more screens and one of them shows the driver heeling and toeing while double declutching in a race. Great stuff. I still do it sometimes when I want to accelerate past something. Used also to be called a "racing change" by twots writing books like James Bond, not that I don't rate Ian Fleming, loved the originals!
