I bought a defender recently and just got the V5C back. Its says the vehicle is blue. I bought it sprayed non reflective nato green and black.
So I have to send back the V5 for the colour to be amended to green and black.

Is any evidence required for this? I cannot see any requirement on the ukgov website.
Would a camo colour scheme be an issue?
Thanks for any pointers

No evidence but has to be declared especially as the lazy previous owner has failed to register the difference. I do think Camo colour issue would be an issue if the paint content has other chemicals added for non reflective. Be wary of Romulans and Klingons as they have hatred of earthling using the stuff hide.

Main colour only. So whatever is the most prevalent. Mine has limestone roof and side panels, black doors and rear quarter panels but the rest is green so green it is. They wont take Parisian Dustbin Green or Vintage Burnt Blue either. Just Green or Blue or Black.

Not a massive problem until you drive past the filth doing something suspicious like breathing. When they check your vehicle and it comes back green land rover and yours is vermilion sunset your going to get pulled.

Not a problem to have more than one colour on a car. Years ago I had a mk2 escort in 2 colours (deliberately) was on log book as both.

Try explaining this one to DVLA :)
