Hopefully I can explain this properly. I have searched for answers before posting so don’t think it has been spoken about.
It’s a Freelander 2. When I unlock the car with the fob it won’t always unlock. It tries, things click and motors whir, wing mirrors open, etc. But the drivers or any other doors don’t unlock. I can unlock the boot with the fib independently though and I can long press to open the windows, which is how I get in most of the time. When I reach in, sometimes the central console can unlock it, sometimes it can’t. To add, this is more so after the car has been off for about 20 mins or more and on the odd time the drives door unlocks to the catch, so partially opens but not enough to get the door fully open (imagine a cracked window on the latch at home).
The door handle on the inside after a window openning always works.
