Central locking problem L322 4.4 V8

Hi, has anyone had problems with there central locking on there L322 ? I have just gone to get in my car and found that both the front doors will not unlock ? The tailgate and back doors unlock fine but both the fronts won't unlock, I have tried the key in the lock and the central locking button inside and still no joy.

I have read that there has been a few failings on locking switches on the P38's but not heard any on the L322's. It is more than alittle embarrissing climbing over the center console to gain entry or exit.

Any ideas anyone ??? I don't understand why its both front doors that aren't working ?

Do a fuse check,if they are OK then it needs a session on Testbook,I was working on one today that the LHF door would not open - I was working on the ABS and was not asked to sort out the door.Damn annoying though.

Thanks for reply, After reading as many posts as I could on central locking, I identified the fuses from my Rave software went to open my door and again the 2 front doors wouldn't open, so I remembered I kept on reading about bad contacts so I ****ted the drivers door handle with the base of my fist and tried shutting and opening it again (on the key fob)and it worked ? It is working fine now but is obviously a warning that something is on it's way, so will carry on investigating when I have my next day off.
